The food was not to our taste – a little more salty than we like. There was one other couple in the restaurant at that time and a few came in while we ate. The door in front said they were a “creole restaurant”, so we were expecting some resemblance to New Orleans style cooking. We were told that they were a Haitian Restaurant. The food tastes fresh and excellent and this is a place where I can invite a friend from a different culture. This Haitian restaurant where their specialties are grilled fish, conch, and goat, located in the heart of downtown North Miami, makes me very proud to be a Haitian.
